"Eastern Tennessee Bible College was born out of a deep personal burden, a proven need, and a story of firsthand gratitude. Nearly thirty years ago, when God called me into the ministry, I was working a full-time job, raising two young sons, and unable to pack up my family to attend a traditional seminary. It was through the flexibility of a local church Bible institute and distance learning that I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees—a foundation that faithfully prepared me for advanced graduate and post-graduate studies later in life.

Having personally benefited from this model nearly three decades ago, I know how essential accessible training is. Today, the need for a local, in-person Bible college in Upper East Tennessee remains just as vital. ETBC was established to meet that need by combining the personal connection of classroom instruction with the modern flexibility of online learning. Our mission is to offer high-quality, affordable theological education that meets everyday believers, bivocational pastors, and ministry leaders right where they are."
